In March, freelance artists Carla Smith and Jessica Wilson-Leigh delivered a creative cooking workshop as part of a creative residency hosted by FINE.

Cooking together from scratch as a team-building activity is no easy task, but everyone got stuck in and handled it brilliantly. 🍽️✨
As we cooked for one another, lively conversations started to simmer, laying the foundation for new friendships that carried on through the weekend (and beyond).

The process called for trust, openness, and embracing unpredictability. And in the end, every dish was absolutely delicious. The initial buzz of the kitchen gradually gave way to the gentle hum of conversation over a shared meal.

It was a real testament to how food can bring people together, breaking down barriers and creating space for connection.

Massive thanks to FINE for inviting us to be part of such a special weekend, and to everyone who cooked, chatted, and ate with us on that first night.
