These prints grew out of the process of editing my artist film Sugo, which traces relationships and the ways we preserve, guard, and protect care. As I worked, unexpected glitches flickered across the screen, scattering colour and disrupting the footage. These digital interruptions became the inspiration for prints, becoming work itself. The playful, layered prints translate those stuttered marks into something tactile, echoing the way the computer seemed to struggle with — and in its own way respond to — the tender human experiences unfolding in the film.
